The Yellow Wallpaper
Written with composer Eliza Randall, The Yellow Wallpaper is a 20-minute musical. Adapted from Charlotte Perkins Gilman's classic short story, it tells the tale of a woman's forced confinement and mental deterioration. Ironically, Sam and Eliza wrote it while in isolation themselves during the COVID-19 crisis.
Many thanks to performers Adee David, Emily Franch and Max Meyers. This musical was written as part of the Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program at NYU Tisch School of the Arts.
